IR Kit installation for Set-up box

An IR Kit is often used to control devices, like set-top boxes, from a distance using infrared signals. If you have an IR extender or IR blaster kit for your set-top box, this setup allows you to control your device even if it’s placed inside a cabinet or out of sight

Service details

• Place the IR Receiver near the set-top box, ensuring it has a clear line of sight to the remote control.
• Install the IR Blaster in front of the set-top box (if in a closed space), using adhesive tape if needed.
• Connect the IR Blaster and IR Receiver to the set-top box.
• Connect power to the IR kit if required.
• Test the system by using the remote control from different angles and distances.
• Troubleshoot the connection if it isn’t working.
• Finalize the setup by hiding cables and securing components in place
