The Milestone LD-1044UDP is a multi-format serial data distributor that takes a single RS232 input and feeds it to four RS232 outputs and four RS422/RS485 outputs simultaneously. This lets one host computer, PLC or controller drive up to eight separate serial devices covering different interface standards from a single source. Each output is buffered and isolated, keeping data clean and reliable even when remote devices sit at a distance or in electrically noisy environments.
